The Iron Shepherds Creed
A brotherhood does not drift-it declares.
What We Declare
This creed is not read-it is declared.
Every Iron Night, we stand together and speak it out loud.
One voice leads. The brotherhood responds.
Leader:
Men:
Who are we?
We are Iron Shepherds.
Leader:
Men:
What do we reject?
We reject passivity.
We reject weakness of will.
We reject silence when truth must be spoken.
Leader:
Men:
What do we pursue?
We pursue Christ above all.
We pursue discipline in all things.
We pursue strength of body, mind and spirit.
Leader:
Men:
How do we live?
We stand firm in the faith.
We act like men.
We are strong.
(1 Corinthians 16:13)
Leader:
Men:
What is our responsibility?
We lead ourselves.
We lead our homes.
We lead others towards truth.
Leader:
Men:
How do we treat our brothers?
We sharpen one another.
We hold one another accountable.
We do not let a brother fall alone.
(Proverbs 27:17)
Leader:
Men:
What do we do when fear comes?
We do not retreat.
We do not shrink back.
For the Lord our God is with us wherever we go.
(Joshua 1:9)
Leader:
Men:
In all things?
Whatever we do, in word or deed, we do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.
(Colossians 3:17)
Leader:
Men:
Who are we becoming?
Men of God
righteous, faithful, loving, enduring, and gentle.
(1 Timothy 6:11)
Leader:
Then say it clearly.
Men:
We are Iron Shepherds.

We will not drift.
We will not quit.
We will not bow.

We stand.
We lead.
We endure.
We finish.
Final all together:
For Christ.
For our Families.
For the brotherhood.
